Amelia is an artist with a secret technique. She creates her art from photographs, by using her camera to capture the beauty of everything around her. As Amelia goes to her grandmother’s house for the night, she captures photographs during the car journey, the blue sky, the cornfields and even a horse. But when she passes a field of wildflowers, she is so mesmerised by its beauty she forgets to take a photograph. Arriving at her grandmother’s house, Amelia realises she has forgotten her art box. She is sad that she will not be able to create art without it. Her grandmother reminds her that art is inside of her, and supplies are all around her. She just has to look for them. Amelia looks all around her, and by taking a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, she creates new, beautiful pieces of ‘loose part art.’ She even creates a picture of the beautiful wildflowers she forgot to photograph on her journey.
